Fishing Tips
Specific Species Scents
The hardest part about this fishing secret is you
have to let the targeted fish bite into, and set the hook for you to
ensure only hooking the kind of fish you want.

There is a little known fact that many species of fish hold in the same
body of water at the same time. The problem with fishing multiple species
at the same time is that some laws forbid fishing for one kind of fish
while legal to fish for others. Salmon, Steelhead, and Trout often use
the same holds at the same time competing for the same water for spawning;
however, before that they'll also compete for reaches of water where
complicated fishing rules inhibit anglers who don't want to risk fines.
There is a solution.
Specifically target species of fish by using known scents that attract
them and continue to fish; the hardest part about this fishing secret
is you have to let the targeted fish bite into, and set the hook for
you to ensure only hooking the kind of fish you want.
Think about it. Didn’t you ever go fishing and incidentally catch
a fish you didn’t intend to? It happens all the time. However,
in this instance if you use scents known to produce strikes from trout
they’ll hit the hook; you just have to be patient enough to wait
for each one to do all the work for you. It’s that simple and
that hard. It can be done. I’ve seen it hundreds of times.
Look at the fish in the photograph on the right. It’s a picture
of a steelhead. It was caught in a reach of water where hundreds of
salmon were holding. As a matter of fact, I didn’t see a single
sign indicating the presence of steelhead, sea-run rainbow trout; however,
I knew that at least some steelhead would be there knowing their similar
migratory patterns. The great thing about this particular catch was
catching it all on video. You don’t have to be patient with this
trick you just have to be grimly determined to make it work and it will
produce.
